These Togetherness tea towels feature an original illustration by Esther Sandler digitally printed onto a cotton/linen tea towel.
As a textile piece they’re great for hanging in your house as a piece of art or or adding a splash of colour to your kitchen.
Each tea towel measures approx 48cm x 67cm
As a small business, Togetherness takes its footprint very seriously and all decisions are made with this in mind. The majority of Togetherness products are made in house at their Melbourne studio, with some sewing outsourced to a local seamstress during times of heavy demand. They utilise locally based providers for their digital print needs and ceramic firing where possible. Materials are thoughtfully considered for their durability and wearability while products are designed to be functional and stand the test of time, aiming to avoid the throwaway nature of trend driven fast fashion. The digital printing they use utilises a low impact process without the need for harmful chemicals and minimising water use, and the small quantities they print ensures low wastage. They also aim to recycle or compost all waste from the studio where possible, including all fabric scraps, packaging and paper.
