Indus originated in 2007 with Deborah and Jeffrey George who began developing small ranges of scarves. Progressively they extended the range to include Baby and Home Decor. The relationships with the makers became central to growing an understanding of traditional trades in printing, weaving and knitting techniques.

Crafts that originated centuries ago are often practiced in the same way. The people behind the product are artisans, it’s their skill that sits at the foundation of Indus.
